This past Saturday we had the chance to go on an exciting field trip! First, we went to The Rusty Pelican where we toured the kitchen and learned about cooking operations in a popular and busy restaurant. Afterwards, we piled in the van and drove down to Paradise Farms, which is a top producer of organic fruits and vegetables for Miami-area restaurants. We got to pick and taste delicious fresh fruit, see how to grow Micro Greens, Mushrooms, Jack Fruit, and more.
