On Saturday December 8, 2012 we went to the Miami Culinary Institute located in Downtown Miami at the Wolfson Campus. We were given a tour of their impressive facilities by the Director, John Richards.
We got to see the wonderful view from their first-class restaurant that is on the top floor of the institute.
This is the room where they have wine tasting, cooking demonstrations and international video cooking conferences. John Richards gave the example; they could be video chatting with a farmer in Africa, a chef in Boston, a wine connoseiur in France and another culinary institute here in the U.S.
We sat in on an ice sculpture class!
Finally we took a tour of their organic garden right in the heart of Downtown Miami.
